"A lot of promise let down by a bed that creaked so much it kept us awake."

The accomodation was unique and the setting very pleasant.

The mattress was apalling. We could feel the springs and the mattress creaked loudly everytime we moved during the night, leading to 2 nights very poor sleep. Before leaving a review, I reached out twice to the owners by their recommended contacts. Once by text, and again via email - to alert them to the issue and encourage them to address it in future. If the mattress was fixed, we would love to stay again. Due to the lack of response, and being unsure if we just got the "unlucky" carriage, we are not prepared to stay there again, despite travelling regularly to the area.

"Good location with basic facilities"

Lovely location, nice to have own gated area. Toiletries provided and good kitchen equipment. Good shower with hot water.

The bed was uncomfortable, mattress creaky. It was quite cold in the cabin heating was intermittent which should've been on constantly for March. The sink in the bathroom was tiny and awkward to use.

"Lovely location but a disappointing standard of accommodation."

Location was excellent; quiet with lovely scenery and views. We had a nice, secluded little garden.

Felt it was a big exaggeration to describe the accommodation as 'luxury'. The furnishings, crockery, cutlery etc looked very old and uninspiring and we had to ask for a couple of chairs; these were duly found but again looked old and well used. We didn't realise that the second bed was above the double and therefore only reachable by a ladder.

Position and love the wood panelling throughout..Main facilities were excellent

Bit cramped but that's understandable given they are railway carriages Made up for by main centre facilities

Cute little carriage, perfect for our one night stay. Ours felt really private with it's own fenced off garden and very peaceful area.

We didn't realise there were multiple carriages on the site, so the listing was slightly misleading.
