Waikiki Palms, Central Location, FREE parking

The location was amazing. Walking distance to everything with so much to offer within a few minutes. The parking spot was fabulous, everything was clean, and we had plenty of towels. It was also extremely easy to come and go. Everyone was extremely nice and accommodating.

I did not realize it was an Air BnB I was reserving since it was at a hotel. There are several amenities that weren’t available to us since we weren’t technically hotel guests like the pool. It is not beachside so we had to walk to go to the actual beach. We also asked for our luggage to be held to move our car to the correct assigned spot and the hotel would only hold our luggage for a fee. We didn’t lose any keys but it’s $50 per key to replace and $35 open fee if you lock yourself out of the room. Anytime I called the property owner she answered immediately and made exceptions to help us out and I am so grateful. None of the things above posed a problem for us but I thought it should be included in this review so others would know.

Very comfortable room and perfect location to get to beach and to the shops and bars. Parking was a real bonus.

Convenient location. Free parking at this location is a plus. The free water dispenser was nice. The host was very quick in responding and flexible.

The building is old so the sliding door was heavy and hard to open/close, the elevators were super slow, and the bathroom ceiling had occasional water leak (which did not hurt our belongings but unpleasant nonetheless). The exterior concrete repair work was scheduled during our stay, which restricted the lanai use, and that was unexpectedly disappointing and unpleasant (although I agree with the owner who cannot control building maintenance schedule, I wish it had been noted when making reservation). Generally things are clean but the coffee makers (both Keurig and the drip type) were dirty and my husband did not want to use them (I used one after cleaning).

The hotel was comfortable. Great king bed which was very comfortable. Bathroom could have been nicer - very basic.

The parking garage was a nightmare!

The room was perfect for two people- clean and comfortable with a nice balcony. Good access to shops and food establishments and a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. The free parking space was super nice- just be aware that the parking structure is a pretty tight squeeze so economy sized or small sedans are a wiser choice. All was quiet and cozy. The host was great and kind enough to let us in a little early due to the room being cleaned early. Highly recommend.
