Two bedroom downtown apartment with balcony

We like the spacious 2 bedroom apartment with a balcony. The kitchen was fully equipped. There were some condiments which was a bonus.

The laundry machine room and both machines were very filthy. The laundry room is outside the apartment. It's very inconvenient especially if you forget the key. The dryer took a very long time to dry clothes.....even after 3 hours the clothes were not completely dry. We have to lay them around the living room inside the apartment.

Beautiful apartment in a very good location. Easy to find, free parking outside (after 4pm until 10am). Close to local amenities. The host was very communicative, provided easy to follow instructions.

The bathroom was a bit small, so taller people in the group struggled a bit. There was also no toilet paper for some reason.

Fantastic location and excellently equipped. The information given upon checkin was very helpful too. Only slight downsides were that the televisions in the bedroom did not work although these weren’t really needed and also that a few things weren’t cleaned properly - the milk frother for the coffee machine still had a previous guests old milk in it! Overall though an excellent apartment and will definitely look to book again if I’m back in Akureyri

Location was great, easy access to downtown. Living area and main bedroom, furnished well and very comfortable.

Second bedroom is rather cramped and not really suitable for an adult couple (not clear from the photo or description) and the bathroom is very small. Building work going on in the apartment above - no problem with noise - but the builders occupied both free car parking spaces all the time we were there.

The apartment was above an ice cream store, which our kids really enjoyed visiting.

The dryer wasn't very efficient, I would have appreciated a clothes drying rack or drying cabinet instead or in addition.

There was a lot of noise transfer from upstairs both from the guests moving around and the plumbing. the second bedroom was very small for 2 people - ok for one

Spacious and modern accomodations with a fully equipped kitchen. The location was central and within walking distance to the harbor and major sites. The 2 bedrooms were a plus for our family and we loved the living room and kitchen. There were plenty of windows that brightened up the place.

Great location, easy access to the city center and parking spots available close to the property. Well equipped kitchen, good apartement facilities and nice decor. The communication with the host was also excellent.

the laundry room in the building was very dirty and the washing machine and dryer have not been properly cleaned (probable for quite some time). I know that is a problem of the building and not the appartement itself, however people sould really respect the property that they visit.
