The place was peacefull, lovely gardens to enjoy nature . Place is well kept. Host was very friendly. All in all it was a beautiful experience

The heated pool ,was very not sufficiently heated and made the night swim an unpleasant experience.

Everything, neat,quiet to unwind, friendly staff ,Karen is an amazing host making sure we happy ,good communication skills which is key , solar when there's loadshedding. It was just an amazing experience, will go back again with my kids

"A beautiful country retreat"

We have to give Karen a perfect score! We attended a wedding in the area, and were so happy to stay over. We received a warm, friendly welcome from Karen and her staff. The place is beautiful, clean, tastefully decorated. We stayed in the Beach Room, and what a treat! It is so spacious, with a nice kitchenette and even an extra bedroom if you have children. You can relax in front of your room, or in the beautiful gardens. Whenever you're in that area, please do yourself a favor and stay over at Footprints!

"Excellent base to explore the area in comfort, proving everything you need for a self-catering stay"

Perfect overnight stay for our family of 4 (2 adults + 2 kids). Karen and her staff were extremely accommodating when we requested a late check-in. Isobel and William were lovely and provided clear instructions on the facilities. Karen was an attentive host and kept in contact with us to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Comfortable beds and well-equipped. And as a bonus we had access to both an outdoor cold water swimming pool and indoor heated pool.
