Very smart property, nice pool and hot tub

Getting in was an issue and a simple text with pass code and WiFi code would have been easier than the email link provided. The online information is great but if you are like us and have no internet access as you arrive to access emails and information then it’s a problem. The lady in adjoining office was reluctant to help until really pushed as she had nothing to do with the apartment we stayed in.The complex of apartments is NOT called what the booking name is as they are not allowed to use that one. Nice place but expensive for what you get.

The use of the descriptor ‘suite’ suggests there would be a lounge area. This ‘suite’ was a small studio style single space with bed and one chair plus bathroom and access to shared utility room. Property description is probably meant to say ‘luxury’ rather than ‘luxury’.

The breakfast provided was quite meagre and only lasted two of the 4 days we were there . No coffee making facilities. Nowhere to wash up except in a kitchen outside of the apartment( which we somehow discovered late) but there was no dishwashing liquid or rubbish bags provided. . One stale pastry given on first day was thrown out

The place is listed as Lakeview apartment This is also the name of a neighboring complex that you come to first along the road so assuming we had arrived we drove in there. After driving all over that complex looking for our carpark at midnight we found it was actually called Marina View apartments down the road. Following online instructions(which disappear when you have read them and click a link) we had to find the lock boxes to get in. There were 3 of them in the same place in the stated place, so that took a while to actually discover the correct one. Exhausted after a long rainy drive we finally got inside and it was tiny and freezing. This is a hotel room, not a suite (that's next door?). The heated towel rail was faulty, so a kind lady gave us free towels a few days later (you have to pay for more towels here if you mind wet towels for your 4 day stay.. There are no room instructions, so it took a freezing night, and a phone call the next day to find out that there is hidden blind that works on a remote switch . The on-line instructions give minimal assistance and if you do call, they are quite grumpy. l felt like the apartment is run by a big company that just want your money and don't care too much about your comfort. No tissues, toaster, microwave or any of the things you would expect in a place like this. lastly, there is no table and only one chair to sit in so we had to take turns sitting in it!

Location was perfect.

The single room felt awkward with the potential for people in the full apartment. Felt like you were staying in someone’s spare room. Aircon/heating could not be changed which lead to the room being stuffy.

Great views towels in the bathroom were amazing loved the bath

Pillows were a bit thin and the blanket was white could see lots of hairs on it
