Cappadocia Acer Cave Hotel

We truly had an amazing stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely interior decoration in the entire hotel and room. Very clean room and a very, very comfortable bed. Varied breakfast. Nice, quiet location with its own beautiful view from the terrace. Not too far from Goreme by taxi. Highly recommend - we would return tomorrow if we could!

We stayed at Acer Cave House for two nights with our family and had a wonderful experience. Our room, which had balconies, was absolutely lovely. With the heavy snowfall, the place transformed into a winter wonderland—truly magical! The staff were incredibly efficient and kind. On our last day, our travel plans were interrupted due to the heavy snow, but the hotel staff were very understanding. They moved us to a new room and allowed us to stay free of charge until 5 pm, which was very thoughtful and much appreciated. The breakfast spread was lovely, offering a great variety of options to start the day. While the hotel is 5 km from Goreme, we were more than happy with our choice. The rooms were nicely heated, and despite the outside temperature being -5°C, we didn't face any issues with the warmth inside. Overall, a fantastic stay with excellent service, and we highly recommend Acer Cave House for anyone visiting the area!

We had booked the balloon tour through the hotel, which unfortunately got canceled due to the weather, but we understand that was beyond their control.

The service and hospitality were truly commendable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and always eager to assist, which made our stay more pleasant. This was undoubtedly one of the biggest highlights of our experience. Additionally, the breakfast was quite decent for a small hotel, offering a good variety of options.

However, we encountered a significant issue with our room category. We specifically booked the Deluxe Cave Suite, and when browsing the pictures on the hotel's listing, the first images showcase an extremely spacious suite with elegant columns, luxurious turquoise furniture, and a large jacuzzi. As you scroll further, different rooms appear, but all are still categorized under the Deluxe Cave Suite, implying that they should maintain a similar standard. Unfortunately, the room we received did not match those expectations. It was not significantly different from a Junior Suite, except for the presence of a jacuzzi in the bathroom. The room was much smaller than the one displayed in the first image of the Deluxe Cave Suite, leading to a clear case of "expectation vs. reality." Perhaps some guests are lucky enough to receive that specific suite, but in our case, the experience was disappointing. Recommendation for the Hotel I strongly urge the hotel management to reclassify the room categories appropriately. The rooms currently listed under the Deluxe Cave Suite vary significantly in terms of size and luxury. They should not all be marketed under the same category, as this leads to misleading expectations. Otherwise, future guests may feel even more dissatisfied and leave lower ratings, which could impact the hotel's reputation. Overall, if we had booked a standard room, we would have found it excellent. But since we booked a Deluxe Cave Suite, the experience was underwhelming, and the disappointment was unavoidable. I hope the hotel takes this feedback into consideration to improve future guest satisfaction.

Beautiful place. On the list for hotel pickup for tours. Lovely accomodations. Everything was perfect. Fruit/nut tray in room on arrival. Whirlpool in room. Great view from breakfast room. Truly amazing hotel.

Staff was friendly and although not all of them spoke perfectly english it was more than enough to provide extra care for us! I appreciate the view from the hotel and that it was close to local shops and a supermarket. The transfer and tours provided by the hotel were also punctual and decent! Our room was huge, clean and warm.

Ortahisar is not really exciting and communicative as the rest of the villages nearby which the price doesn’t reflect
