Broom Leisure Camping Pods

Amazing! We booked for 3 nights here and wish we had stayed longer. The location is fantastic. Very peaceful and relaxing with beautiful views and we saw lots of wildlife. Excellent value for money. We stayed in a 2 bed and 1.5 bath holiday home which was perfect. Spacious and well designed and had everything we needed including a lovely open deck with a hot tub. The home was clean, and well maintained, full kitchen, good heating, a comfy huge sofa, power shower, and comfortable beds. The staff were all lovely, helpful and very friendly and checked in regularly to make sure we were enjoying our stay. There's loads to do in the area and we even took a day trip to the Lake District as it was so close. We don't fish but we enjoyed watching all the people fishing as we walked around the ponds. Thanks for a great stay and we will definitely be back.

Everything. The reception was in a fishing tackle shop which was open YET I had to wait behind a table outside in the cold? The women asked me if I needed showers? It was like she didn’t want us to have one. The pod was absolutely disgusting. It smelt like they had either thrown turps all over or re painted it was so strong it burnt my eyes. The floor was pealing and the heating was set at 5’c and wouldn’t budge the place was filthy!! We didn’t end up staying we went to the closet holiday inn which is around the corner for £20 more. WITH WIFI CLEAN BEDS LOTS OF ROOM A TV AND A FREE BREAKFAST!! I did contact the property on the day and also the night but they kept sending the same reply ‘hope your enjoying your stay’ when I said we had already left. I just Left because it was after 5pm and needed to get another hotel ASAP The table in the photo is the one I stood behind while I waited 7mins outside in the cold while the women got my booking up. Though the shop was open :/

The lady who met us was so so friendly, everyone was. The pods were spacious and clean, the location was just tranquil!

Nothing really. It was great. The toilet room was a little battered and old, but it’s a fishery site so kinda expected tbh

Like home from home, we had the most incredible stay, so relaxing and even extended our stay by an extra night!

Staff were so helpful forgot to get some things like milk and they were there in five with it and then asked if there was anything else they could get for us

Not been in pods before so didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised what was in them and although we never went fishing there are loads of fishermen there
