The info stated that the entire unit was on ground floor - It wasn't Patio and outdoor furniture - It was so small we could not have eaten there. We abandoned the Cottage to find other accommodation which was NOT easy on a long weekend.

It was near the town centre but very quiet. The central heating worked very efficiently. Spacious for 4 adults. A useful downstairs loo in the utility room. Comfortable seating areas and dinning area.

The whole property was just 'tired' and was very basic. Despite a list of restaurants being provided in an email, there was no welcome pack with useful information, no maps or suggestions on places to visit. There was a dishwasher and a washing machine but no detergents for either. Handwash was provided but was very diluted. There was very little washing up liquid and no washing-up brush or cloth. The seal on the bath screen was peeling off which meant there was some leakage when showering. We could only get one car on the drive (a mini) as our friends hire car was too large to make the tight turn off the road. This was frustrating as the parking was one of the main reasons for choosing this property. We didn't feel we had value for money.

Problems when we arrived . No electricity socket power or no boiler working . . However this was resolved within 2 hours of arriving at property by plumber and a call by an electrician

The house was in a good location. Easy to walk to the town and convenient for the Sainsbury. Nice to have parking although it was tight.

This cottage is definitely not clean The kitchen is very poorly equipped - complete mismatch of china and glasses and many were cracked Definitely not enough equipment for a family of six Not even a tumbler for a soft drink Shelf broken in fridge door Coffee cup put away unclean and still wet coffee round rim Nice electric wood burning stove but the fuse had been removed so unable to use it and I was cold Bed quite comfortable but no mattress protector and the mattress was stained Pillows flat like pancakes Duvet cover in front bedroom had a huge stain on it Blind in front bedroom broken Bathroom had lots of mould on grouting and around bath After we left we received a text asking if we had taken dogs to the cottage as the cleaners felt there was a ‘dog’ smell. No we don’t have dogs - the cottage just smells!
