"Superb"

Great location for cycling and canoeing. Property is near a cycle route (middlewood Way and towpaths along the Canal were also great for cycling).The owners were very helpful.Accomadation was as described and was spotlessly clean . The bed was very comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay.

Property was nice, very clean with excellent bathroom & bedroom. Overall was cute & recently refurbished by the look of it.

Downside was very steep & bit uneven stone steps (for us - fine for younger guests probably) but main disappointment was lack of kitchen facilities. No kitchen to speak of and only very small fridge. Ok if you don’t plan to have much breakfast & want to eat out. Bit pricey for facilities on offer.

Lovely quiet location, nice walk into town, would highly recommend to anyone.

😂 we went for breakfast in town and had to wait over an hour, David needs to see if he can get trees trimmed down across the road as the view would be amazing 😂👍

Very nice accommodating. Clean and well equipped. Local to some nice restaurants and a good base for exploring the Peak District. We had a very pleasant stay.

"Enjoyable stay"

Lovely conversion, modern, bright rooms especially bedroom and bathroom. Wifi was good , TV apps available.

Lack of privacy when using the lounge, the stone steps very lovely but a challenge with luggage. No seating or access to the canal side or garden to relax would be nice
