Cempaka Kembar Guest House Ubud

A beautiful and peaceful place to stay! The pool and gardens are stunning and very well maintained. Our room was spotless, the bed was super comfortable, and the kitchen—with a small fridge and stove—was really useful for self-catering. It’s in a great location, close to Ubud, and the hosts can organise bikes, laundry, massages, and tours. The family is lovely, very caring and easy to communicate with. They even brought us fruit and snacks during our stay! The nearby temple added something really special—we were lucky to witness several ceremonies. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, privacy, and warm hospitality.

Cempaka was a really nice experience for us. It is situated slightly north of the busy center of Ubud, making it a great base for sightseeing. The room was stylish & cozy, and the view on the swimming pool was nice. The swimming pool itself was lovely too! A great place to come back to after a day trip or activity in Ubud center. The laundry service exceeded all expectations and the driver they recommended was really nice as well. We asked a lot of questions and learnt a lot during the drive. Pak Kadek was a splendid host. He was very considerate and helpful with all the questions we had. We had the luck that a special ceremony was taking place in the nearby temple while we were there. Pak Kadek brought us along and guided us through the experience and Ibu Niwayan made sure we dressed respectable & traditional. We feel very lucky and grateful for that experience and their hospitality. This place is definitely recommended! Lastly: ask accommodations and drivers directly instead of through platforms if you can. A driver can recommend an accommodation and vice versa. It makes a big difference for them and their community.

The price to quality ratio is super! The pool is clean and cute. Very chill place to stay.

The property owners were excellent, very attentive, and incredibly helpful in answering all my questions. The room was a great value for price! While not the closets to downtown Ubud, it's only a 10min. Gojek/motorbike away.

On certain nights there was music from the nearby temple that I could hear until 11pm or so, and I'm generally an early to bed kind of person. Bring ear plugs just in case :)

I have spend 3 weeks in Bali and so far it has been the cleanest place i have ever been. The owners are young and very good people. If you know how to get around and looking for budget place, its this one
