Another great stay at Dungkar Guest House. Firstly, the hospitality and warmth of the family that run the establishment are notable, and the staff is equally as pleasant. Since my initial stay, there has been the addition of a cook and menu that offer standard Nepali fare of good quality at reasonable prices. One can tell that the business owners have made great efforts in providing and maintaining an exceptional environment for their patrons. The place is clean and comfortable, and significant thought has been given to anticipating and catering to a guest's needs. The atmosphere is great, and there is an overall ambience of positivity. Lastly, the location is excellent. Heads up, it is a mere one-minute walk to Boudha Stupa, as opposed to four minutes, through a corridoor that is not on Google Maps which is lined with cafes and shops. With the experience of a two-week stay (I booked four extra days onsite), I really feel confident in recommending this establishment to anyone looking for a professional, relaxing, and enjoyable stay.

There can be the occassional loud guest, but they tend to stay only one night. Welcome to Nepal.

The rooms are very big. The staff is so nice and helpful. When ever you need help with bus info or other things, they are there to help. The keep the hotel very clean and comfortable. They have a nice food menu aswell. When I arrived, I got a nice welcome tea. I would warmly recommend this hotel and will come back for sure. It is so close to Boudhanath stupa. In a quiet side road.

Boudha Stupa is a pleasant one minute walk through a corridor of shops and cafes. The location is second to none and the hotel is exceptionally clean with a courteous and attentive staff and is by far the best guest house I have stayed in while on my trip. The hospitality, facilities, cleanliness and attention to detail are all A+.

That I had such a short stay, but plan to book a longer stay when I return to Kathmandu in a couple weeks.
