The Pier View

The location was very central & the apartment was spacious & bright. The key collection was easy & access to the apartment easy. The staff were friendly.

Nothing to spoil the stay but worthy of mention: The parking was a little far away but we understood this to be the case at the time of booking. No towels provided. Slight noise from foot traffic & service vehicles.

It was a bar/restaurant so thankfully it was open and very easy to talk and collect keys

Fantastic location, spacious and light, nice atmosphere. Pub noise not a problem at all during our Mon-Wed stay. Own entrance so we didn’t have to go through the main pub was appreciated. Very clean.

Fairly minor things, but the wifi was barely usable, the TV couldn’t connect to it enough to use streaming services. No razor/toothbrush socket in the bathroom, and the bathroom could use a table of some sort to put toiletries on. No shower basics provided (not in the ad, no real complaint, but we don’t travel with them because everywhere tends to have something).

Nice decor, convenient location, welcoming staff, comfortable bed, all the amenities you could need.

Noisy! Single glazing so noise from street carried through. Bar opposite open til 1pm on Friday and Saturday with live singing on Saturday. Not crazy noisy, but loud enough you could clearly hear the music. Plus noisy as their patrons left the bar in the street and usual car/skateboard/motorbike sounds on the road outside. Not constant, but enough that if you’re a light sleeper it would wake you.

No breakfast, location good

Location is very ideal if you travel by Red Jet, about 3 min walk from the terminal. Great amenities around since it's in the town centre of Cowes. Host is very attentive and friendly. The bedroom is very spacious, with a separate room equipped with microwave, sink, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities - more than enough for what we needed.

We had no problems sleeping despite it's location being in the middle of the busy part of Cowes (we are from a big city). But you can hear noises from the street below. So if you are used to a very quiet night, bringing earplugs is probably a good idea.
