Amazing place , Our host Ismail was great, food was lovely , the boat trip and island tour we arrange were both great , and the seafront area was great , couldn’t recommend more.

For something unique and incredibly special, this place is it! Professional, well-spoken, very helpful host, Ismail will meet you at the boat and welcome you to a lovely cottage in the bush. Easy transfer with beautiful scenery. Cottage is clean, everything is taken care of, you sleep to the sound of waves and nature. It is safe and you can do a walking tour to see the friendly, local village. Healthy, fresh meals of big portions are served at the dining area up between the trees. An unforgettable experience on the small island of Wasini for those who like to go off the beaten path and experience authentic bush/beach life. Ismail will also help you book your tour to the National Park, he was extremely helpful every step of the way and made sure I was happy with everything. Unbeatable service. Thank you to the owner and hosts who welcome visitors to experience your beautiful piece of Earth and showing great Swahili hospitality. What a blessing to be so close to God՝s creation.

Une jolie maison de pierre à côté de l ocean, dans un ecrin de verdure. On peut voir des petits singes directement de la fenêtre de la chambre. La cuisine y est délicieuse et généreuse. Ismael est un hote très accueillant, et très sympa.

Dommage peu de plage, la baignade sur wasini n est pas evidente.

el lugar es un pequeño paraíso en una isla. No tienen agua corriente pero te proporcionan agua para que te puedas lavar. La ubicación es excelente y tienes la oportunidad de estar cerca de la gente de la isla de wasini, gente maravillosa que te trata genial. Esta isla está muy poco explotada y merece la pena venir para vivir la experiencia. El parque natural está muy cerca y te llevan en barco, muy recomendable. Ismail es una gran persona y se preocupa siempre de que estés bien

We especially loved the peaceful, secluded setting of Blue Monkey Beach Cottage, surrounded by nature and with breathtaking ocean views. The cottage had a rustic, authentic charm that made us feel connected to the island, while still being cozy and comfortable. Ismael was an incredible host—he arranged fresh, delicious seafood meals, organized boat trips and snorkeling, and was always there to help with anything we needed. His kindness and attention to detail made us feel completely at home. It was the perfect place to unwind, enjoy nature, and experience the beauty of Wasini Island.

It was really a very special and unique experience to stay at Blue Monkey. Everything is simple but well thought through, so I wasn't missing anything. The solar panel allowed to keep the phone charged even though the place is not grid connected, showering with the bucket is no problem. Ismail is the most friendly and helpful host you could imagine. He showed me the village, helped organize a snorkel tour and had a lot to tell about the history of the place and the village. Wasini island is stunning with coral reefs, mangrove forests, dolphins swimming nearby. Overall, highly recommended!

Like everywhere along the coast, there is quite a bit of plastics pollution washed up to the island. Ismail and others try there best to keep beaches clean, but this is Sisiphus work.

Super séjour de 2 jours .C’est un hébergement très nature ,on a pu explorer le parc marin et se balader le soir dans le village.Ismaël est un hôte incroyable qui s’occupe de vous comme si vous arriviez chez des amis.

Nos encantó todo pero lo que más fue la Atención de Ismail. En todo momento se preocupó por que estuviéramos bien y no nos faltara nada. Nos ayudo a comprar los billetes de bus. Es una experiencia que recomendamos mucho.
