Lovely family host, very accommodating to all our needs. Great communication via booking.com. Host allowed us to check in at 6am for a small fee after our long overnight bus travel from Ha Giang. Showed us where the main tourist attractions were in town and helped us hire bicycles for a day. Breakfast was a simple Bahn mi, but appreciated:) The room was clean and comfortable. Great location and quiet.

The room had a candle melt burning and it smelt like citronella and was very strong. But that’s a personal smell preference thing.

Amazing home stay. You feel like you are part of the family. Very friendly owner, They give you suggestions on what to do and don't push you to buy something. I loved that. Can't say enough how friendly they are. It was sad to leave :(

There was nothing to not like

I had an amazing time during my stay. Got a warm welcome when i arrived with tea and cookies. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very generous and the homemade jam was absolutely delicious. I booked a tour and a bus to my next destination through this homestay and they allowed me to stay past the check out time in the room to relax and take a shower before i leave without any extra charges. As they was a festival blocking the street the bus couldn’t pick me up from the homestay so they took me on a motorbike to the bus which was also completely free. I can really recommend staying here. The family is so hospitable you will definitely feel very safe and welcome here.

This is a family run home stay and this particular family are so warm and welcoming and extremely helpful & kind. Happy to share information about the area and recommend tours and can make booking for you 🤩 So handy to a variety of restaurants & spas. I’d definitely stay here again 😍 PS loved the homemade pineapple jam 😋

The only reason I stayed for the two nights I booked is because it was a nice change from dorms to have my own room and a private terrace.

When I arrived early, which was communicated to the host beforehand, they wanted me to pay an extra fee, which had not been communicated to me, even though the room was free. Being tired and sick I accepted, only to arrive in the room and it was quite dirty, with hairs on the sheets and urine on the toilet seat. The drain of the sink has a very terrible smell because the pipe is clogged and needs cleaning. The hosts seemed nice enough and changed the sheets (which still didn’t seem very clean) when I asked, but I didn’t appreciate feeling like they were trying to get extra payment. For the same price, there are better options.

We arrived super early around 5am and we could sleep in the house before our room was ready. The family is amazing and during whole stay we felt like part of it. They helped us to arrange tour around Ninh Binh and bus tickets, invited us for family dinner, we tried their own happy water and was offered to use a pool next door. There is an option for free bicycle rent and Bahn Mi for the breakfast was delicious oh my god! as was the coffee. Rooms are big and clean. We loved it!
