Golden Bay Holiday Village

We had such a fab time staying at Golden Bay. The apartment was very clean and modern, the beds were comfy and the rooms were a good size. It was in a row of other apartments but was really quiet which was a bonus. The balcony was clean and tidy and the views across the sea were great. It was so nice we are thinking of going back next year.

Could do with some blinds or net curtains on the doors and the downstairs bedrooms. It needed a few more outdoor chairs.

Can't fault one single thing

The property was clean, and everything was in perfect order, which we truly appreciated. It’s clear that attention was given to maintaining the space, and this created a pleasant first impression. However, while the cleanliness and organization were excellent, certain aspects of our stay fell short of expectations, which impacted our overall experience.

We were very disappointed with the TV in the property—it was extremely small and didn’t even have access to Netflix. This made our stay quite boring as we couldn’t enjoy watching our favorite shows or relaxing indoors, and we ended up going out more than planned to pass the time. Another issue we encountered was with my daughter, who developed rashes on the first night we stayed in the property. By the following night, the rashes had worsened. It seemed as though she was allergic to something in her room, but we couldn’t identify what it was, which was quite distressing. Additionally, we didn’t meet any staff during our stay, and there wasn’t even a welcome card provided. Considering it was during the Christmas season, a small gesture like a welcome card or a festive touch would have added warmth and made us feel more valued as guests.

The fact they ask you to strip the beds. Bag up the laundry. For the price and the fact i am on holiday it’s something I didn’t expect to be doing especially given the price for 3 nights. Nearly £1000!

Too pricey, would have been good to provide a breakfast pack for the first morning

We just loved all of it the accommodation made our holiday everything we needed was there it was spotlessly clean beautiful see vews I would definitely recommend this holiday home.

The apartment was beautiful the layout and furniture excellent the view was wonderful all this in a beautiful position

The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Nice view of the beach from the balcony. The lighthouse apartments are well suited for a family stay.
