スタッフが皆さん フレンドリー。 この値段では部屋はどうしてもカプセルのようになるけれど それでもある程度の広さがあって何より綺麗で共有スペースも広く、一番良かったのは100円で飲めるワインでした。

The cleanliness of the hostel and the friendliness of the staff were what made me consider going back to this hotel in the future. For a small hotel, a 24-hour front desk is also much appreciated. Free parking available too! The bunk bed was surprisingly roomy and came with hanger, mirror, tissue paper box, etc.

Breakfast was just 2 slices of toast and spread. No lift - though only need to climb one flight of stairs. Locker could be a little wider to accommodate bigger pieces of luggage. There is also only one male toilet for more than 16 male hotel guests on the upper floor.

アラーム不可や防音性が低い点が少々よくない。事前に説明があったのでイヤホンを使いました。 立地が駅から使いにくい、自家用車がなければ利用が難しい。

布地のスリッパが重ねられて保管されてるのはちょっと汚いかなと

The staff are amazing. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home. They facilitate conversations and really take good care of the place. It feels very home-like. The common area and the staircase are great. The floor plan is very convenient and efficient. Very clean facility, one of the cleanest I've ever been to. The restaurants down the street, near the mall, were good. You could find healthier food here than you can downtown and the parks are nice.

The mattress is terrible. Beyond terrible. I think it's an air-weave mattress or something similar. Look it up. It's like 2 inches of spaghetti hard plastic. I understand Japanese futons can be uncomfortable for westerners, but I think sleeping on the floor on top of a comforter would be better. At least the human body is designed to sleep on a hard surface. This mattress they give you is like a cheese grater. The pressure points are random and will leave marks all over your body. Then they have a sales display where you can PAY NIGHTLY for a soft mattress topper... So they know it's bad. They try making you pay more so you can sleep decently. They also try renting you a pillow. That didn't sit right with me at all. You also have to pay 100 yen for each clean towel. However, if you don't avail the room cleaning(which most people won't) they give you a 100 yen coupon to use on a clean towel daily, except for the first day... The nickel and diming is next leveling here. What really got to me was how much more expensive this place was compared to downtown. About 2x more. And the places downtown have decent 3-4 inch foam futons that feel like a dream and you're not upsold on paying for clean towels. I'm not going to pay extra for a mattress topper out of principle. Oh yeah, and everyone in the hostel was getting sick. Some kind of cold was going around. I wonder if the poor sleep the guests were getting contributed to a poor immune system. Oh, ironically the lower bunk that costs more is worse than the upper bunk. Sure, you have more storage space, and a place to sit and type in private if you want, but if you're trying to maneuver things around, take things out of you bag, back into your bag, etc it's difficult because it's such a tight fit. If it was flat like the upper bunks it would be easier to put things in and out of your bag.
