Choine Hotel Sapporo Teine

Super nice hosts, very nice shared facilities, good value for money for sure.

I am a bit sensitive about beds and the mattress of this one was too hard for me.

Too far from downtown, 12km Mattress hard.

Simple the best hotel i stayed last trip, the only 1 thing i don't like is my chinese noisy neighbour

Everything was nearly perfect, until some chinese guy wake me up at 2:00 am:( while check in so loud.

The staff are so nice and they provide drop off/pick up at some key location nearby hotel. The hotel is clean and the size of each cabin is quite sufficient.

I loved the staff and facilities, everything was clean and everyone was friendly. I especially enjoyed the complimentary coffee and toast!

However, I hated the beds. The futons were simply awful, all my friends agreed. I have never slept on something so uncomfortable in my life. Atleast the space itself was fine, I had enough room to keep my things. Don't sleep here if you are a sensitive sleeper or have back issues! You're better off outside in the snow.

The place was amazing for 4000 yen a night. It had everything you need for it to function as a little base while you went out to enjoy Sapporo. The owner is willing to drive you to a station in the morning and the other customers were fun and respectful with the shared space.

Breakfast is just two pieces of frozen bread. They have a toaster oven though and plenty of jams so it wasn't all bad as far as "bare minimums" go. You could tell they did that just so they could put on the website that they have free breakfast. The beds are also thin and uncomfortable due to the mesh material that is used to make it. Bring a spare sheet so it doesn't feel like you're being cut up if you shift in bed.
