Location to restaurants, board / skies rental, Shuttle to mountain all within 1-2min walk. Owners gave us a lift to the station on departure which was very nice of them

Wouldn’t say dislike but I recommend grabbing a taxi and doing a big shop at big Hakuba supermarket / alcohol if you don’t have a car. ( only ¥1300ish one way) Convenience stores 7/11 and lawsons are 1200m away Big Hakuba supermarket 1700m away So it’s a decent 20-25min walk one way.

This cottage was perfect for our family of 4. The location was great, right next to restaurants, ski hire and bus. It was clean, warm and had everything you need, including a drying room.

"5 star host, even got to pat their beautiful pug."

The host Nick was sensational, collected us from the train station, took us grocery shopping before giving us a tour of town. He even dropped us to the gondolas when he happened to see us leaving the cottage for the day. The cottage was also very handy to everything in town and had everything we needed. Was nice and warm with a serviceable kitchen to cook in. Can not fault both the host and the cottage.

Can’t say enough nice things about this place! Very well located, just a few minutes drive from many attractions in Hakuba. The cabin itself is the perfect size (we were a group of 4). The bedding was super cozy, and the entire cabin was impeccably clean. Fantastic amenities and a lovely warm heater. Highly highly recommend.
