Shoreline Coastal Get Away

Beautiful house, and nicely decorated. The only problem we had was that hot water didn't get very hot and you had to lock front door with a key it wouldn't just close it had to be locked. Overall ir was lovely beautiful house and excellent sea view. Would like to see the view in summer rime. Would definitely go back

Location, lounge and terrace were amazing

It wasn’t cleaned! One room was locked, just because we said we would be 6 people assuming people were all couples, not cool.

The lay out of the house is really good! Great for two families.

There were issues with some of the heating making noise and disturbing our sleep but hopefully this is easily fixed.

Amazing house, 9 levels! A good workout for the able-bodied. The lounge, kitchen and balcony were on the top 3 levels, good view of the sea, which we could hear. There were board games, books and toys available in the lounge. Kitchen had everything we needed except dishwasher tablets. The beds were comfortable - sleeps two people on each level of the lower floors. Short walk down a hill to the pebble beach, walking distance to both Hastings and St Leonards. We had a wonderful time exploring!

The address is confusing - there are two #1 on St. Margaret’s Road, so it’s worth knowing that the block is named Shoreline, which is at #27-33. The balcony was awaiting repair - there was scaffolding up around the whole block and it had no glass in the guard rail, just some construction netting. There wasn’t a property information folder available, so we had to work things out or contact the owner, and on our second day the kids found a note written in crayon saying how to find the second WiFi for the lower ground floors. The house wasn’t very clean, with dust bunnies, cobwebs, forgotten items from previous visitors under furniture, and when the kids opened the sofa bed it was full of crumbs and dirt. There was a problem with the pipes while we stayed and they groaned and grumbled in the walls all night and day. It’s a great property, so if these things are attended to before your visit, it makes a wonderful holiday home!
