Rosa Maria Zanzibar Resort

Location is good for the beach nearby. The pool is good. The food took a very long time to arrive but always tasted good.

When we arrived, we shown straight to our room. The top bunk bed had pillow or bedding. Rather than find us these items, we were told to share it from the other bed in the room. We returned from a day trip to find the shower didn’t work - it turns out that the pipes were broken and we had to shower in a different room. We had to ask for more toilet roll as it wasn’t replenished. We felt like a burden rather than paying customers.

The local employees were nice. They were keen to help.

This is a family business. When we arrived they didn’t welcome us. No greetings. It was very cold. Afterwards the son was opened to us but the atmosphere was so cold. We decided to leave the same day !

Nice and cozy place and close to the beach. We liked the relaxed atmosphere and the staff and owner are very friendly, welcoming and service minded. We also liked the Pingwe location.

A wonderful place with a sweet and friendly owner and staff. The swimming pool and garden are fantastic, the bed is comfortable, and the rooms are spacious! It’s also just a short walk to the beach and close to bars and restaurants in the area. We loved the monkey Toby! Highly recommend!

I loved the fact that every morning I woke up with the pool view and enjoyed playing with the monkey that they have there. Also, I've never had a better pizza than the ones I've had here. The stuff is very friendly. The best vacation ever!
