Snowdonia luxury log cabin

Very poor light in main bedroom and heater didn't work there either. No room to get into bed from the sides as the bed was nearly as wide as the room - had to crawl in from the foot of the bed. Absence of bedside light.

Clean , comfy, cozy.

Location is amazing we visited a few places only having to travel 30 mins each time. The cabin is cosy plenty big enough for us well equipped everything we needed.

It was quite clean easy to find.

Drive needed to be a bit bigger move the box. Bigger vehicle wouldn’t be able to park

We liked the kitchen, bathroom, lounge, outside eating area and that there was parking. The area to walk the dog was enjoyable.

Sadly, it was a hot weekend, and there were lots of windows that were hit by the sun. The lodge was over 33°C even with the blinds closed. There was no fan provided, something we fully appreciate you wouldn't think you might need. We had to sleep with the windows open and thought that the roads at the back and front of the property were just access to the other Lodges. But the one at the front is an actual road which has regular vehicles using it quite frequently. The one behind is right next to the bedroom, the bend in the road literally goes around the bedroom (see pics) and cars started going by from just after 0500 am. We even had to close the windows in the evening as a few Lodges down decided to light a chiminea, despite it being 27°C which filled our lodge with the smell of firelighters and smoke. Needless to say, we sadly did not have any good nights sleep while there. We agree that if it hadn't been hot, the windows wouldn't have had to be open, and things could have been different. We found that the kitchen, despite being well equipped that several bits were tired, needed a clean and lots of bits seemed out of place e.g. lots of mugs in lots of different cupboards. The main bedroom hasn't got much room either side of the bed. Thankfully, we're able to get out of the bottom, but others might struggle.

Very clean, well stocked with equipment, nice to sit outside on the deck in the sunshine and look over at the hills

The lock was very stiff and we struggled to lick the door. Also the parking was tight

Loved the large screen tv. Loved the overall comfort of the cabin and the location. Loved the simplicity of the cabin and design. Loved the quick and easy heating of the cabin for those cold nights.

The main bed wasn’t very comfortable. Shower drain was blocked/slow and water was sweeping out the shower onto the floor.
