Chic City Centre Townhouse

It’s a very comfortable, pretty new and tastefully decorated townhouse which is an easy walk to the Riverside Markets and city hub. Very central for exploring Christchurch. Loved having a washing machine come tumble dryer, coffee pot machine, hairdryer and thick carpets!! We had a very comfortable 6 nights here.

Any dislikes are minor!! Would have been nice to have milk in the fridge on arrival to make a cuppa and some smaller tea / coffee cups. There is no car parking on site which I knew upfront - street parking is free from 5pm to 9am and weekends.

proximity to city. Although we are used to bigger beds, we felt the bed was very comfortable. We found the apartment very clean.

The property was clean and modern. The bedrooms are large and well appointed, as was the kitchen. Generally, very comfortable. The hosts contacted us proactively and it was in a very good location.

We were not aware that there is no car park allocated to the unit and car parking in inner Christchurch is pay as you go. This meant some very early rises to avoid parking penalties and was an additional cost we were not banking on.

Really close to Riverside. Really great location and we really liked the space. We were pleasantly suprised.

Parking is the only issue. It doesnt come with an allocated parking space. We stayed for 4 nights so we just paid for a parking spot 40 metres away. Though this carpark does get busy during the week so its best to park after 4pm and leave your car there. You can walk everywhere within the City.
