Location, the fact it was adults only and dog friendly

Lots of choice for breakfast. Hosts were very welcoming and generous. Themed rooms with interesting and quirky decor. Completely vegan and dog friendly.

I went here together with a good friend and with every day at Miggi's we fell more and more in love! It's a safe space for queer people, totally vegan and literature themed! The rooms are so quirky but comfortable, and they serve the classic English breakfast but with all vegan alternatives. Also the location of the guesthouse just couldn't have been better for us. Originally, we wanted to stay in Torquay, but then we ended up in this wonderful place in Paington (the neighbouring town of Torquay). Paington is way prettier, and it's the centre of Torbay, where you can do day trips around the whole bay easily by bus or by foot if you fancy a hike (which we can highly recommend). There are wonderful beaches all around, but the best one is just 2 minutes from Miggi's, and it has beautiful red sand and an incredible view and (which was fun for us) an huge pier with arcades on it! They also were all super nice at Miggi's! When we had to depart early at our last day, they made us huge breakfast to go with even porridge in reusable boxes! Of course we would've never asked for that, but we were so greatful nontheless. We really made the best memories here and I can recommend this place to anyone who wants that feeling of coming home after an exiting day! It's really worth the money and more!

A bit of building tlc.

Such a lovely place! The themed room was so nice and cosy, makes you want to come back and see how the other rooms are decorated. The breakfast was excellent and I can not praise the hosts high enough for their hospitality. They go above and beyond to make sure the people staying with them have everything they need and feel welcome. Loved it!

I liked everything about it but particularly the warm welcome from Naomi and the rest of the Miggi team and the very rare opportunity to stay somewhere genuinely vegan-friendly, dog-friendly and accessible (my husband is disabled). My non-vegan husband and daughter enjoyed breakfast and I loved having the full choice of the menu without worrying about hidden animal products.

I'm struggling to think of anything here.

Vegan through and through! Lovely evening meal and breakfast. Quirky room decoration made a change from the often bland hotel rooms. Friendly hosts and very near the beach!
