Vriendelijk personeel de eigenaar heeft voor ons een geweldige excursie geregeld naar de watervallen, de rijstvelden en de waterslide. ook hebben we een geweldige massage gehad en tot slot heeft hij een goede taxi geregeld naar onze volgende accommodatie nadat onze rite geanulleerd werd door booking omdat ze geen chauffeur konden vinden.

Het personeel spreekt gebrekkig Engels maar dat is geen groot probleem.

Nous avons tout aimé, la chambre confortable et indépendante dans un jardin, les arbres, les fleurs, la piscine, l'espace restaurant abrité du soleil, le billard, nos hôtes et les paysages à proximité de l'hôtel (notamment les cascades, les rizières). C'est un havre de paix. Nous avons prolongé d'une nuit notre séjour car nous n'avions pas envie de le quitter. J'y retournerai avec plaisir si je reviens à Bali.

We spent three nights and two days in Sekumpul Hidden Space and we had a fantastic time. The staff helped us organise our trip to the waterfall as well as a diner in a local restaurant in the village nearby. We also asked the team to organise a birthday party for our 8 years old boy and they prepared a full evening show with Balinese music, traditional dance and food. We spent a wonderful evening. Thank you to the team!

We had an unforgettable stay in this truly unique location, nestled in the heart of Bali’s most stunning natural surroundings. The accommodation is small and wonderfully peaceful, with beautifully crafted bamboo-style rooms that offer both charm and comfort. The pool is a lovely spot to relax, perfectly complementing the serene atmosphere. What really sets this place apart, however, is the incredibly warm and attentive staff. They go above and beyond to ensure your stay is nothing short of perfect. A particularly touching gesture was when one of the staff members drove all the way back home to fetch traditional clothing for us, so we could attend a Hindu ceremony at a nearby family temple—an experience we’ll never forget. They are also an invaluable source of local knowledge, able to connect you with the very best guides if you’re interested in learning about Balinese customs and history, or if you simply want to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Sekumpul. The area is breathtaking, with terraced rice fields, lush, aromatic vegetation filled with herbs and fruits, and of course, the magnificent waterfalls that are nothing short of awe-inspiring. We couldn’t recommend this place more highly—it’s a hidden gem and a perfect retreat for those seeking a genuine and enriching Bali experience.

We love absolutely everything about this place. We arrived late night and Ketuk welcomed us. He was very attentive and servicial during our stay. I wouldn’t recommend to arrive that late as the road is dark and zig zags around the mountain- you need an experienced driver to drive over there !! Perfect place for relaxation, great views and nature. Ketut was always attentive to our needs, we loved him playing traditional Balinese music every morning while we had breakfast. He also arranged us our transportation - to rent a scooter and to come back to Ubud. The room is small but comfortable, there is Ac and WiFi works well. We liked staying in a traditional Balinese housing and have tea at night in the quietness of the place. If you are looking for being in contact with people and away from the caos in Canggu and Ubud, This is your place to stay!

They could add more vegetarian/vegan options to the menu.

Beautiful garden setting in a very quiet area. Room was small but clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful and the meals were good. The area is great for walking - noting the any long walks will require some very steep climbs. Four great waterfalls in the area within walking distance of the property. Very little tourism in the area. Local residents all super friendly - it helps if you can speak a few words of Indonesian.
