"A great place to stay in a historic centre."

What a treat to stay in a 500 year old place that has been beautifully maintained and restored. It had everything we needed. The location is unique and interesting.

The main room bed is soft and wasn’t the most comfortable for us.

"Perfect stay in Rome (40km from) without stress and crowds. Cute, quiet, historical, beautiful."

If you are planning to visit Rome for a few days or a week , this is a perfect place for a couple or a family of four. 40 km from Vatican City with car or short 45 min. ride with the train. Place is just few minutes walk from the train station. And you will stay in a beautiful old Italian town, full of charm and cuteness. It is on the lake for quiet walks, or endless amount of small restaurants just 100m away. 1000% recommendation.

I didn't like that I could not find any minus point. ;-)

Besides the climb up to accomodation, we had a lovely stay and even booked a second night. Having a washing machine was a lovely bonus.

That it had a pellet stove and the owner had made sure the place was warm when we arrived.

That we had to switch on the water pump to build up water pressure, pump was in the bathroom and noisy - especially if you have light sleepers - but it is a minor discomfort!
