Location ... so close to the beach! Very handy having the dairy/takeaway so close. We were en route to begin cycling the A2O bike trail. We didn't want to go into Christchurch as we needed to keep driving to Ōamaru so staying at Waikuku was perfect.

Even though I put my two 50 cent pieces into the slot, I had a cold shower! The lady at reception refunded me OK but said it sometimes happens!
