The Arctic Urban Cityscape

The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Beds were comfy. The large picture windows in the living room were lovely. I enjoyed my morning coffee just watching the snow and the birds. The washing machine was a great addition. Huge bathroom, kitchen and living room.

The room was dirty from the previous stay when we checked in. We were hoping to relax after our 19 hour journey, before our Northern lights tour that night, but could not due to this. But the host was very apologetic and made sure the room was cleaned later in the evening, and offered some compensation as well. The apartment qas quite bare. Some side tables, bedside lamps would have been appreciated.

The location of the property was fantastic! Super close to town! Easy to access everything we needed. Property was spacious for our family of four.

There were a few things that didn’t work great. Some of the outside shades for windows did not come down. Lights worked most of the time, but were occasionally finicky. Some of the closet doors were in need of repair. We couldn’t get the thermostats to work well, so we alternated between being cold (with a window open) and warm.
