Ayali Riverside Resort by Alivaa- Rishikesh

The amazing location of the resort just beside the Huel river.It gave the impression of glamping rather than a hotel or a resort but with all necessary hotel facilities. The staff ,in particular Mr Shobhit Rajhbhar was exceptionally friendly and cooperative. The stay was a great value for money

It's a great place to be.. quite natural and full of positing energy.

The Ayali is a recently built property it seems, because the staff needs a thorough training specially their sales staff. I made reservations a month before through booking.com and just 9 days ahead of my travel received a call from Ms. Bhavna from their sales team and we were asked to look for other options. When we asked her to send a cancelation from booking.com she was audacious enough to deny as she was not responsible as per her. She even reached to a level to tell us that their team can deny us accommodation at the last minute also so better we look for options. After investing 3 working days booking.com came to rescue and somehow made the reservation available to us. Hotel was supposed to take entire payment at the time of check-in however again as a surprise Ms. Bhavna asked for some advance payment as a deposit. The property is at the extreme end of Rishikesh & the main gate you'll find always locked, you've to knock the door to get in. Staff is courteous but lack etiquettes. Another group was offered some breakfast from live counter and when we asked we were denied and then were given the same breakfast some time later without explanation. Rooms are pretty big but not much furniture to use. Bathrooms are a mess, no designated space to take shower hence whenever you use it, water logging happens. Breakfast menu definitely needs some upgrade, very sad spread they offer. There is much more to share, but I guess if they improve a bit of this also, including Ms. Bhavna would be helpful for them to build their image. Until then a big NO for this property, as they say The Ayali - An Un-Hotel experience, trust me they mean it.

This is relatively a new property, the cottages a little small in size but are very clean and well kept. The river is just outside and very accessible. The food is good and staff is very courteous.

For the price point they charged it might seem just a little overpriced.

Amazing place..

The calmness of the place, extremely cordial staff ,food was really good, very well mainted. The manager Mr Pokhriyal is a gem of a person.

The name plate of the property that is placed in the air entrance could have been well lit and made in white base, so that the first timers won't face any problem to locate it in the dark.
