We loved everything about our stay in this camp - it was magical and unforgetable. It truly was the highlight of our trip to Morocco. The camp is luxurious, decorated with great attention to detail. It is literally located within the desert - you can just climb the dunes to have a magnificent view and to watch the sunset. The dinner was delicious. After dinner, the team played some local music and we were dancing around the campfire which was a lot of fun. But the focus of the evening was on stargazing. We had perfect weather conditions and could see a lot of stars and even the milky way. It was spectacular!

One of the most amazing experiences I have ever had was my stay at this camp amid the golden dunes of the Merzouga desert. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was in another world. Everything was arranged with high professionalism; from the warm Moroccan smile at the reception to the tent equipped with all modern comforts, including air conditioning, which made the desert night much more enjoyable and comfortable. The available activities exceeded all my expectations. I started with camel riding at sunset, where the colors of the sky and the sand blended in a magical way that words cannot describe. The next morning, I enjoyed horseback riding among the dunes, a unique experience that made me feel like I was living a part of the authentic Bedouin heritage. I didn’t stop there; I took an exciting quad biking tour that gave me a great dose of excitement and thrill. I also went on a 4x4 desert trip to explore the surrounding areas, visit oases, and Berber villages, which added a cultural depth to the experience. The nights in this place are no less wonderful than the days. After a delicious dinner of authentic Moroccan cuisine, I sat by the fire enjoying traditional music and the sound of drums echoing under the star-filled sky — a moment I will never forget. In short, this experience was the perfect blend of comfort, adventure, and culture. I recommend anyone visiting Merzouga to live these unique moments — they are memories that will remain engraved in the heart for a lifetime.

The only slight downside I felt was when I requested to extend my stay for a second night directly from the camp, it was not possible due to full bookings — perhaps because the camp is already very popular and attracts many visitors. But I didn’t give up; I immediately booked a second night through Booking.com, and I was happy that I didn’t miss the chance to enjoy more of this wonderful place.

Our stay was nothing short of extraordinary. From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at ease. The camel ride across the golden dunes at sunset was pure magic—the shifting colours of the sky and the stillness of the desert created a moment we will cherish forever. Returning to camp on quad bikes brought a wonderful sense of excitement and contrast, adding adventure to the tranquillity of the evening. The dinner that awaited us was both delicious and plentiful, and the atmosphere around the fire, with live Berber music and drumming, was authentic and uplifting. The tents were spacious, comfortable, and beautifully arranged, striking the perfect balance between modern comfort and desert charm. Stepping outside at night to witness the Sahara sky ablaze with stars was the highlight of it all—truly breathtaking. Sara luxury camp is far more than just accommodation; it is an experience that combines culture, adventure, and natural beauty in the most memorable way. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

Arrivés à Merzouga, et après avoir payé la tente pour 4 personnes, on nous a dit qu il fallait payer 70€ de plus pour le transport et le dîner par personne. Dommage ces choses là se disent dès le départ pas au dernier moment. Nous sommes allés au Riad hassilabied à la place. Excellent Riad, piscine propreté, excellent petit déj, et dîner. Merci à Mohamed.
