Moonshine on Whiskey Creek

The most stunning location, peaceful and lush, just a ten minute drive from Plett central. The cabin is completely private, comfortable, and beautifully decorated with the most amazing balcony views. We adored the unique mosaic shower with stain glass windows. Our host Carol was helpful and responsive when we had questions or needed recommendations.

Being a cabin in the forest, there were (naturally) spiders. Fortunately they are the non poisonous type.

Fabulous location - felt like you were living in the treetops

You have to accept that this is essentially a ‘tree house’ we loved it but it may not be for everyone. Maybe a little expensive given the inevitable trade off between location/view and rustic/convenience. It was in such a fabulously quiet location that the person in the valley below with a petrol strummer was an audible intrusion on occasions.

Wir haben in einem sehr gemütlichen Bungalow übernachtet, welches einem das Gefühl gibt mitten im Wald zu sein. Die Aussicht ist klasse und der Pool läd zum entspannen ein. Das Bett ist sehr bequem und wenn es mal kälter wird steht eine sehr moderne Sauna zum entspannen ein.

The walk down to the creek and natural pool were unfortunately too steep for us..
