Moonshine on Whiskey Creek

This was one of the most beautiful places during our vacation. A house in the woods with an amazing view on the foggy nature in the morning. We enjoyed the brand new sauna. For the kids there was a playground and a nice pool. We definitely recommend this beautiful accomodation

Carol was a gracious host, we had a cold night with a baby in the bungalows she moved us into butterfly cottage at no additional charge. Butterfly cottage is absolutely beautiful! Well equipped with modern amenities.

This accommodation is nestled in the forest with a great view over the canopy of the trees. There are load of birds around, and there is a great hike down to the river and a waterfall through the pristine forest which is private for residents only. The accommodation was very comfortable and well appointed, a fancy cosy cabin in the woods. We really enjoyed the fire place in the cool evenings, and a nice touch was the electric blanket. Wake up to the sounds of the birds and enjoy your meals on the balcony with views of the forest.

Absolutely magical location, nestled in the treetops with a magnificent view over the valley towards the mountains. 'Fly me to the Moon' cottage is charming and rustic, and has everything you need for comfort and an enjoyable stay. Even though our stay was in mid-winter the wood-burning stove is very efficient so it was warm and cosy. It's a place to rest and recharge. Loved listening to the birds and gazing at the stars.

It was ok. Could be better.

First of all,why post the main house photo when it's not where you will be staying. Its nothing to do with what's on offer. It's a little too rustic,could be better. However the little walk on the property is absolutely beautiful. Location is ok. Although we went to do kloofing past Natures Way and we actually got jumped,local kids put ball of clothes in the middle of the dirt road and tried to force stop us and when we didn't,down the road some guy went on his knee and begged us to stop and when we slowed down he tried to open our car door and jumped us,and we sped off, he held onto our car and we actually dragged him nearly 50mtrs before he let go and went rolling down the side road,luckily we have older kids and our son managed to push the guy off when he opened the door.Rookie mistake as we relied on the car auto lock!! Thankfully we're all ok, a little shocked but all ok

Amazing! Tucked away in the forest. Carol was very helpful and kind and Petronella and Elijah were superstars! Love the new look and all the details. It looks absolutely stunning! Thank you...until next time.
