Nice place to stay. Sarom and his wife are excellent hosts, their hospitality and great service are top notch. We had booked 2 double rooms but Sarom upgraded one of our rooms which was very kind of him. The rooms are all very lovely, spacious and comfortable. Food was very good and tasty. 100% recommend if you are coming to Siem Reap.

Notre séjour à Pomelo a été tout simplement mémorable. Sarom est un hôte comme il en existe peu, attentionné, généreux et sincèrement passionné par sa région. Il nous l’a fait découvrir avec le cœur, a cuisiné pour nous et nous a accueillis comme si nous étions chez lui. Nous garderons un excellent souvenir de cet endroit et de ces moments partagés.

Beautiful location Looks great in the rooms

Der Inhaber und seine Frau waren sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft und insbesondere das Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet und dekoriert. Von der Terrasse, auf der das Restaurant ist, kann man auf ein großes Lotusblumenfeld schauen. Ein sehr schöner Anblick. Beim Frühstück hat man eine sehr gute Auswahl aus der Karte und das Essensangebot ist sehr lecker. Uns wurden , für die Zeit unserer Unterbringung, kostenlose Fahrräder zur Verfügung gestellt.

De meer dan hartelijke ontvangst tvangst door Bun Sarom en zijn vrouw. Je voelt je er gelijk thuis. Het is ook een super goede kok. De ingang valt niet echt op vanaf de straat maar als je eenmaal binnen bent is het prachtig en kun je achter op het terras over de lotusvelsen kijken. Het is ook een goed uitgangspunt om de floating villages te bezoeken.

Really nice place to stay just outside Siem Reap, owner was very friendly and helpful

We had a wonderful stay at Pomelo Outpost. The host, Sarom, and his wife were very welcoming and hospitable. They invited us to join them to see a local dancing show, which was a highlight of our trip. The room itself was really clean and had good working airconditioning and a nice private bathroom. Sarom made us breakfast, and options for lunch and dinner were also available upon request. Besides the good room, there is a beautiful terrace with a lovely view over a lotus field. We highly recommend this place!

We had a wonderful stay at Damnak (now Pomelo) Homestay!! They opened again in January 2025 and the place is absolutely beautiful… We were surrounded by nature and relaxed with the view at a lotus farm. We had a very warm welcome by Sarom and his family that took us to the rice fields where we had a good time with them. A perfect place to relax and slow down if you are done with busy cities during your travels. Realise it is a bit further from the centre but in my opinion 100% worth the travel. I would love to come back one day.

Nothing that my partner or me did not like.

We had a delightful 2-nights stay at this homestay over the lotus farm. Clean, fast internet, friendly host and a wonderful break from the tourist-centric Siem Reap center. The homeowner Sarom is friendly, speaks English well and can take you around in his tuk-tuk or borrow his bike. Catching the sunset from spacious back porch over the lotus field was especially lovely and tranquil.
