"Quirky accommodation off the beaten track"

Yurts was very quirky, but comfortable. Compost toilet was also good. John, the host could not be anymore accommodating. He gave us lifts and organised transport for us. He was fantastic!

Shower & kitchen were basic but functional. In busy times I think they would be a challenge

"Fabulous views, great night’s sleep"

Excellent stay. Fantastic views. Great history who also gave us great restaurant recommendations.

Getting there in narrow, gravel roads was dicey. Directions were spot-on though. Composting outhouse was a tiny walk down road, which in middle of night could be rough. For us, quite lovely as stars in sky then were outstanding.

"Great location, perfect host, but facilities were not as advertised."

The views are fantastic, and host very kind and thoughtful, even recommended an lovely itinerary for the day, and even went as far as reserving a restaurant in Fishguard, which was lovely.

Private bathroom turned out to be a composting toilet in a wooden shack, no running water or electricity. Showers were very disappointing, just a trickle of hot water if you can figure out the Heath Robinson taps.
