3bedroom beautiful cottage

Good location for local area, cheaper than staying in the city if travelling with a lot of people. There were lots of beds available, two bathrooms, kitchen, living room and backyard. The host sent a welcome message in advance with all the information that would be needed, and provided milk on arrival. There is space to park two cars, one in the garage and one on the driveway. There is a high street just up the road to get supplies.

The road is busy, and due to cars parking opposite the drive, it is very tight to get in and out of the drive. The sofa beds really needed a topper supplied, it was like sleeping on a rock. Although nice having a backyard, there were discarded cigarette butts and rubbish, the trampoline was filthy so unable to use the space. One bathroom is an ensuite and the other on the ground floor off the kitchen, if sleeping on the second floor, it meant going to the ground floor in the night and early morning to use the toilet. It was very hot, no fans provided.

Electrics tripped twice when trying to use bathroom and toaster which made us nervous about using anything electrical. Parking was tricky and road is pretty busy at all times. We felt it was overpriced for a one-night stay.

The "cottage" was clean, spacious and comfortable. Weili has provided everything one would need to make one's stay pleasant. The garden and patio are a nice bonus. Having the garage to place our rental car in was a real plus because there really is no on-street parking. It is a short walk to the market; and a short drive to the train station. The train/tube ride is only half and hour to central London. The 17th century vibe in the living room was nice.

As mentioned above there was no on-street parking. But there was just enough space to park the car off the street when we had to. And the garage was handy. But we had a largish (perhaps big by UK/EU standards) because we were five adults and our luggage (we were traveling for nine days...the ladies packed for nine weeks). So, it was a tight squeeze to put the car into the garage.

Everything, parking, communication on access to the provisions including fresh milk in the fridge made the stay perfect. Was great to drink that morning coffee in the tidy garden. With pride being taken in the property, it was a pleasure to straighten throws and stop the beds. Clean and will stay again.

The ensuite in the double room's shower was cold and took forever to warm up.

Quirky cottage vibe, clean and comfortable, great communication from host. Convenient location for amenities.

Beautiful place which worked well for a group of friends. We had an issue with the shower but Waili responded quickly and was able to help us out.

The layout wasn't clear on the booking. The main bathroom was downstairs meaning most of us has to go that bit further to the bathroom.

Great location and good about of sleeping places for all with extra blankets and pillows in all the cupboards. This was a lovely place to stay with my friends and would definitely recommend to friends. Would also be great as a family home to stay at, with all amenities.
