Etrus Boutique Room Amalfi

The room was spacious and cozy, with a very comfortable double bed. The sheets and towels were impeccably clean. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Amalfi, providing easy access to everything.

Although the hotel is located in the center, it is quite hidden and hard to find. There is only a small sign next to an iron gate indicating the location, so you need to be attentive to spot it. I had to wait a while to be attended to by phone. In my room, 401, the shower was not functioning properly; the water temperature would change on its own in less than a minute. It would start hot and suddenly turn cold.

Great location, very clean and cosy place. Everything you might think of was available. Highly recommend. We also met Susy Bruno who was extremely polite and helpful. Definitely coming back!!!

The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were exceptionally clean. The location was wonderful and convenient. The rooms were very modern and new on the interior. The host was extremely attentive. Very happy with our stay here!

The location

The experience in this hotel was terrible. The water comes out cold and in one of the rooms there is a leak. Throughout my stay they could not solve any of the problems. I would not stay in this hotel again and I would not recommend it either.

The location is nice and easy to access. It is not in the middle and neither on the edge of Amalfi. there are several food and shops nearby

There is no elevator to get to the room. There is an elevator that take 5 cent to get to the next floor but then again you have to take several stairs. I think more information should be mentioned in the site about this. There is no view of sea or the city, it is in a very old building which can be nice but carrying alot of luggauge and with this price I dont find it worth it. There are soo many locks that we need to pass until we could reach the room.

Shower leaked into bathroom. The shared pool is dirty couldn’t use it. Many stairs. There was no long mirror! I really needed one. Also the round mirror in the bathroom had bad lighting. was hard to do makeup.

I encountered a very unpleasant issue regarding hot water supply . The hotel ran out of gas for hot water, and they couldn’t find the technician on Sunday night. Therefore, I have to reopen the gas myself, with online instruction from the staff. I was very stressful. I came for vacation, but I have to solve the hardware issue of the hotel, at 10pm. It is a ridiculous situation for a hotel of c.a. 275 euro/night. If it is impossible to find the technician on Sunday, they should make sure the gas is full.
