Riverside Bungalow Don Det

Expecting a, rather basic if not even grim place for the price but was a big, bright and modern room right by the river with your own hammock on the verandah! Bit of a walk to the centre where most the bars and restaurants are but it's a nice walk. (Tip-- rent a bicycle at the first bike shop you come across after getting off the ferry and the journey will be even easier. At a quid a day it's worth renting the extra day just so uoive hot a ride back to the ferry!) I'm a bit of a mozzie magnet so feared the worst, staying by the river but hardly bit at all. The island itself is so chilled yet with a nice vibe and I loved pottering around on the bike over the bridge to the end of the next island as well

Just the bed and the distance from the centre stopped it being a 10 but if you get a bike it's a breeze

Air con would have been a bonus but I knew this wasn’t available before booking. There is a fan in each room 😊

La vue de la chambre est incroyable, la disponibilité de la dame, l'accueil chaleureux! Service de laverie et de location de vélo très pratique aussi ☺️

Le matelas est un peu dur mais c'est comme ça dans tous les hôtels ici, on s'adapte ☺️ Le petit point négatif aussi c'est la musique sur le petit îlot à côté qui met sa musique forte jusqu'à 23h c'est dommage car l'île est très calme et apaisante.

Very nice river views. Friendly people. I was placed in their new building and the rooms were bright and spotless. It is a bit out of the centre but you can still walk there

It was quite noisy with both boats on the river and traffic on the streets. If you want quiet times in the hammock, then move more towards the south of the island
