Escape Ordinary in Belfast

The place was not only in one of the best locations I've stayed at in Belfast, everything you could possibly need right beside, but the apartment was also quiet, clean and cosy, with everything you could possibly require. The host, Anne, responded really quickly and was super helpful any time we needed and we enjoyed our stay so much we ended up extending it. Will definitely be back if we can get availability 😊

Property was perfect. Idea for our group of 5 for easy access to Boucher Rd playing fields. £12 on taxis into town. M&S, Greggs and easy parking just across the street.

Door handle fell off on the ground floor front door, items of clothing left behind from the last guests on arrival, pictures clearly evidently missing from bedroom wall. Tried to charge (from the deposit which wasn’t mentioned until a week before arrival) for a “stolen duvet” from the property. However no proof from Anne (the main contact) or Ryan (her manager) that this was the case. Eventually got refunded. When I called, her wording was “well you did leave the property dirty on departure” - ah excuse me, I didn’t realise you had to deep clean a property after departure! Working in hospitality this shocked me. Turns out the duvet was in the sofa bed which we made up and hadn’t been checked. Take pictures of everything on arrival and departure.

Absolutely perfect.

The place was clean and modern, well maintained and conveniently located near food supermarket, coffee shops and wine stores. It is also close to the downtown area and public transportation. Overall, highly recommended.

Everything. Just as described! Beautiful Apartment in a lovely area with lots of trendy bars and restaurants, shops boutiques. Good local transport into city. The apartment was spotless, with everything you would need for a perfect stay. A plus is the balcony/terrace where you can enjoy a drink and watch the world go by. I would definitely recommend. The owner Anne is extremely helpful and responded to a query I had immediately. Nothing was too much trouble, a definite “ can do “attitude, so helpful and knowledgeable.

Standard of cleanliness not great. Check in process over complicated. Noisy apartment above. Stench in bathroom.

Few issues with bedding but was quickly resolved by host. Lounge TV didn’t have your standard freeview channels but multiple apps like Netflix, Disney and more.

Very stylish and spacious. Great bars around and food. Master bedroom was very nice and comfortable with plenty of room to hang clothes Bathroom was nice and tidy Hearing system easy to use Nice patio

Far from centre so paid a lot on taxis Sofa bed uncomfortable and no suitable sheets was put out when showing 3 people staying. We had dirty washing in the washing machine Felt like we was moving in someone’s apartment as open food in fridge and freezer Come for marathon which needed location for running pack to be dropped off as arriving late. Staff seemed to be helpful until date of refund passed then nothing when asking for address to help.
