La Pimpinella di Semifonte

If you want a true Tuscan experience, this is your place! The property has been meticulously remodeled with all the modern amenities without sacrificing any of the authentic charm! There are gardens, a pool, paths to stroll, and many outdoor lounging areas. Perfectly quiet and peaceful! Restaurant is superb for breakfast and dinner, but the winning attitude are the hosts. Their care for every detail shows and their hospitality is second to none! We are already planning to come back next summer for an extended stay because it’s just that nice.

Excellent breakfast with fresh produce - cheese, bacon, ham, eggs, freshly baked bread, warm croissants, jams, honey, butter, yoghurts, cereals, fruit salad, fruit juices, various traditional Italian cakes/pies/pastry, coffee and tea of choice etc. The barbecue evenings were a fantastic opportunity to meet other guests.

It was a lovely stay. A guest information sheet with property and local area information would be a nice additional touch.

La Pimpinella is an amazing place full of charm and magic. When arriving at the place, you have to be prepared for the fact that the road is not asphalt, which is a bit of a thrill, but you can get used to it quickly. The rooms are beautiful, freshly renovated, the furniture is beautiful antiques, refreshed and spotlessly clean. There are many friendly solutions in the rooms. The shower is large, spacious, the water is always warm. Air conditioning works separately in each room. The bed is large, comfortable, not squeaky. Floors made of wonderful raw brick. Outside, there are plenty of places where you can spend time after breakfast or during the day. A large, clean swimming pool, well-kept beautiful plants and a wonderful smell of herbs. Delicious Italian breakfasts, wonderfully abundant and surprising dinners, fantastic coffee and wine from a neighboring vineyard. Something that captured us the most was the personality of the hosts - nice, helpful, fantastic. Thank you Alessandra for staying with us and for taking care of us, for talking, smiling and fulfilling our requests at any time and always with a smile. It was also wonderful that we could be with a dog. The local dogs were also very nice. :)

Wifi needs some improvement but while it was not working we had time to spend it with each other or with the books so actually it was not to bad :)

From the incredibly warm welcome from Alessandra the host, to the delicious wine and amazing food. I would recommend staying here to anyone. If you want to have a relaxing stay or even hire out for a wedding or big party it’s perfect!
