- Old house in the middle of a original mountan village and inside it is renovated in a very modern and cozy style. - well equippe kitchen - Very nice and friendly hosts. - Good starting point if you want to explore all corners of the island

- the three floors are connected, thus there is no way to close a door (except for the bathrooms) - this was no problem, but one needs to be aware - the ground floor has only 2 small windows, but with lights it is all bright and nice (also in summer this and the thick stone walls probably help to keep it cool inside)

Útulný, s velkou pečlivostí zařízený dům v klidné obci mimo hlavní turistické trasy, přitom vše je autem dostupné. Moc jsme ocenili dvě koupelny a pračku. Dům má krásnou atmosféru, výhled a je velmi pohodlný.

This Accommodation in a traditional house in the mountains is the ideal choice for those who want to discover all the nuances of Corfu. It's literally a short drive to the beautiful sandy beaches in the south-west of the island, and those who sacrifice a little more time can also swim on the emerald clear beaches around the Paleokastritsa Monastery. The house itself is absolutely stunning. Three floors including a perfectly equipped kitchen. Each floor equipped with air conditioning. We were a family of 5 and everyone found their own privacy and peace. The house is situated in the village of Kato Pavliana which is surrounded by ancient olive forests. You can simply walk under the giant olive trees that may have been planted there by the Venetians!!! Great. By car it is only 20 minutes to Corfu town. The interior of the house is absolutely beautiful, clean, tastefully furnished and the owner takes care of literally every detail. It is amazing to be part of everyday life in a Greek village. But above all, absolutely great connection and fast communication with the owner (Mara), quick responses and great tips for trips and restaurants. Simply, this accommodation totally exceeded our expectations. The mountains, the sea, the peace and yet only 20 minutes to the busy and beautiful town of Kerkira. If Korfu, then only Mara's traditional Cottage.

Great house - very comfy and bright spaces, great indoor environment with everything you need for your family. There is a lot of attention to details in the house. Looks like a property made for their own family that they rent in the spare time.

Facts about the house the owners can’t change, but a guest needs to know: - low ceilings on the 3rd floor where the master bedroom is. My wife was on with it, but I am 187cm high and I bumped my head number of times. - master bedroom is on the 3rd floor - the bath is on the 1st floor. - tight parking in front of the house. Because of the passing bus you have to park very close to a curb 2 times the normal height. Should be no issue with a small rental car, but mine was a bigger with big rims, etc. You hardly can park elsewhere, as all the spots around belong to somebody(small village).
