Hot tub, and cleanliness of the lodge, were exceptional.

Dark skies area, but the site is lit up like Blackpool illuminations. Really not good for stargazing. The equipment in the lodge was very tired and too basic. Bits of flaking Teflon coming off the pans, a mouldy chopping board made from plywood which had started to delaminate, for example. For the price, I would expect a small welcome hamper with local produce and at least a cafetiere if not a Nespresso machine.

Beautifully located, quiet and remote. Well appointed cabin, everything you need and very comfortable.
