I really loved the house and swimming pool

They had a bit of water problems

The swimming pool was not clean, couldn't swim. The iron wasn't working. We were helped by a tenant, and the ironing board was broken. Some of the beds were uncomfortable, and extra blankets are needed as it became chilly at night. No bin bags were provided. Big pot had no lid. The fridge top had dirt, and a new mop is needed. The bathroom needs a shower mat

We were not informed about the water issue and we had water outages throughout our stay

Clean.

Too many stairs within complex.

Everything was bad

The house was very dirty, gate unlocked. The rooms were dirty and the smell was so unpleasant, smell of damp and couches were so dirty. Bedding was replaced on our arrival, there was no bath towels and there was used soap at the bathroom. We decided to leave sametime at night. Fortunately we were able to secure another accommodation close by.

It's very spacious and worth it for amount we paid. Host is very accommodating.

The house needs a proper clean. Water was turned off and on certain hours. Not enough pots with lids. Pool was not clean.

Nothing.

When I booked they didn't indicate that the area had a water shortage problem. From Friday night when we arrived to Sunday morning when we left there was no water for bathing or for toilets or for washing. Apparently the water pump from the JoJo tank was not working. Although there were 5 liter water bottles available it was an inconvenience to carry a bottle just to flush toilets. We were told that the opened 5 liter bottles placed in the house were clean drinkable water. Go figure. At some part on Saturday afternoon we were told that there is loadshedding when the lights went out. Adding to the loadshedding issue, some parts of the house , the lights were not working. Some walls in the house had peeling paint issues, were damp and a bit smelly. Some places on the roof were leaking. We know this cause it rained the entire Saturday we were there. I will not recommend the place to anyone. There were only 2 pots, 1 big and 1 small and 2 pans, 1 big and 1 small for cooking or for frying stuff. The place didn't have a can opener. I strongly believe we should be reimbursed a portion of the payment we made for the inconvenience we went through.
