NZThe amazing area that we were in along with the uniqueness of the house
We had an amazing stay and everything was thought of .We were aware of there not being any oven or range cooker but this was no problem and easily accommodated .The house itself was amazing and it was a beautiful place to stay .So I guess what I’m saying is that there were no issues for us .
NZCould hear noise from the other room (creaking, footsteps) but it was very minimal :)
NZTastefully renovated, with everything you need for a short stay. A short drive from town or walk to the botanical gardens. Supermarket close by. Lovely big plush towels, and quality bodywash, shampoo and conditioner.
The road noise is pretty load, however it didn't seem to be a busy street. Also could hear the floor above us creeking, but whoever was up there didn't seem to move around a lot.

NZLocation was great, 5 minute drive to daughter's college/dormitory and campus. Plenty of on-street parking. I've always wanted to sleep on a mezzanine floor over-looking the living area. Provided items that we needed but forgot to bring with us. Very thoughtful in providing extra items for our comfort and convenience. My wife absolutely loved the history of the place and appreciated the reading material about it.

NZThe place was quirky and cute. Every consideration has been made to provide comfort, items for unexpected needs, entertainment and even a spot of recreation.
Honestly, the only thing was getting the email confirmation when I learned the ‘quiet suburban street’ from the ad was actually noisy at times. It felt strange but luckily for us, the noise was no more or less than one expects being just a few meters from the roadside. Our stay there was fantastic.
NZNZLoved the restored accommodation. So quirky and lovely. Beautifully restored! Super comfortable with lots of space, warm and very relaxing. Had everything we needed and more!!
