Bella Vista Hotel Boutique

Its right in front of a very large, practucally empty beach, very good to relax. The owner is very freindly and organized us good surfing lessons in las Flores Beach. The menu of the restaurant does not have many veggie options but staff tried to work something out for us.

The point is: If you don‘t have your own car or bike, you‘re pretty much stuck there. It‘s a swealtering 5km hike to El Cuco and no one in the whole area came yet across the idea to rent out motorbikes to tourists. The owner organized us some sort of a taxi driver but it‘s 8$ for every trip to El Cuco, so better bring your own wheels. What I also disliked is the fact, that they do not give guests a key for the front gate of the property. This meant for us, that every time we had an early morning surf session, we either had to wake up a staff member to open the gate or to get out the back door on the beach and walk through the neighboring (private?) property to meet our driver.

The room was adequate and clean and included a much welcomed well functioning silent aircon. I think some renovation works would help (furniture in restaurant area, pool that didnt look inviting), and the fence surrounding the terrain blocking free views (including the gates closing at night). That did not give the right vibe as one is locked in. Some staff clearly need additional (service) training. Breakfast (available when the guests desire - which is a very positive thing) is extremely simple. However, to have to pay extra for coffee is a bit nonsensical. Just as the fact that eggs could only be served scrambled. Never seen that before. With some additional investment in equipment and staff this hotel may get things on the right track however.

This place is a gem in a secluded beach with breathtaking views of the sunset. Guillermo and his staff were always ready to help. Breakfast was delicious and the beer always cold. A brand new new paved road gets you from El Cuco to Playa Ventana in five minutes. Highly recommended.

Beach is amazing! Hammock and seating are very nice. Staff is great.

Charging extra for milk in your coffee.

The owner (Guillermo) is super attentive, as is the rest of the staff. From the moment we parked until the moment we drove away- our every need was met, with a smile. There are a variety of lunch, dinner and drink options available a la carte (highly recommend the fried fish). The included breakfast was small but well thought out - day one was an egg burrito with apple slices to accompany and day two was scrambled eggs with plantains (yum!).

Nothing I didn't like, but keep in mind this is a boutique accomodation. If you're expecting fancy soaps and lotions - best to bring your own.

The customer service was exceptional. It’s a small hotel nothing fancy but it works its comfortable and great place to stay if you want to stay by the beach for a few days

The chairs at the back are basket like chairs not very comfortable should move to patio chairs they had some and in my opinion they should just move to then for all chairs

The staff was amazing beach was beautiful food was really good

The pool was dirty they have dogs so there is dog poop in the grass and dog hair in the pool

Beautiful, private, beach front hotel. Guillermo, Jocelyn and all of the staff was friendly and super accommodating, always anticipating our needs. I will be back with the rest of my family.
