Private Room with Ensuite Bathroom Centrally Located

Host is super responsive. There was no issue but I am confident that if there had been issues, the host would have been informed very quickly and worked to fix them favorably. Location is great: calm neighborhood, walking distance to subway, even closer to bus.

Clean on the first night.

The vent in the bath room sound like Jack hammer. Very disturbing using the bathroom with that jack hammer sound. So loud that you can even hear from the bedroom .Worse of all there is only one switch to turn on the light and the vent. 😬Far from everything. The nearest coffee shop, convenience store and bus stop is 14-20 min walk. You have coffee maker but no coffee so make no sense. Body wash ran out on our second day and I was expecting that they would fill it but they did not. They charge cleaning fees $140/stay but did not clean the room did not change the bath room towel we see no one from the day check in to the day we check out. Check in was bad too. They gave us the wrong code. When I called no one answered. The person from the main unit helped us call the responsible person to get the correct code. Thanks to that lady. She is nice and very helpful. Free parking? But can you find a free spot to park your rental car?

Location and and bedroom

The problem starts with I did not get what I paid for or what was advertised. There was no mention of shared space with other guests when I booked. I was chocked, being a single retired woman sharing with unknowed people. I consequently had limited access to the kitchen and lounge area due to taking consideration of sharing and not disturbing the other guests whos bedroom was just off from the kitchen. I was therefore forced to stay in my bedroom. The flat is in the basement of the owners house and unfortunately, there were flies entering each time the door was opened to enter or exist the flat. Dead bugs on the floor at my arrival and I had to ask for a vacumn cleaner, I had to wash the the mats and shower curtain in the bathroom as they were unclean. Unfortunate, there was such a rush to get the next guest in that the owner did not have the time to clean up properly before the next guest arrived. The place was nice and with a little more notice of the things that need to be improved, it will be perfect for young people on the move who are more at ease with sharing with someone they do not know. People don't mind paying when they know what they are getting. The place is nice.

Overall my stay was excellent I like every bit of the place during my stay. The property manager's hospitality is exceptional and it's hard to his kind in the current generation.

I will recommend the following to be observe by the property owner ot=r career. 1. Air ventilation (Fan or Air condition) during my stay temperature in DC is really really humid to bear., therefore it will be good if there is good ventilation of cool breeze provided either through the use of a Fan or Air conditioner. 2. The place need to be daily cleaned by the property owner and changing bed sheets, during my stay my bed seats were not changed the whole of my stay and I don't think that is right nor was it good.

Owners were so helpful and friendly!
