NJ Corfu Kalypso Apartment

Great location. Helpful, host who was very flexible with arrival and departure times that was much appreciated. Very clean and well maintained property that had everything I needed for my short stay. Ground floor so no need to carry luggage up stairs.

It's better not to use the coffee machine. Coffee tastes better in the city.

A lovely spacious apartment, in a great part of town. The apartment is amongst the hustle and bustle of the old town but set back for enough to enjoy some quiet in the evening. The room stayed very cool and was a welcome break from the heat in peak summer, The host was brilliant and gave a full run down on arrival of great spots to try keeping you away from the hiked tourist prices.

It is concerning that a plug is not provided to wash dishes. I was advised to “run them under the tap.” Not sure about the hygiene standards of this and who had done this before me. Bathroom could do with a deep clean. Room was very dark. No natural light. Noise from upstairs was annoying, sounds of walking and going to the toilet echoed above us throughout our stay. From previous reviews, I was quite disappointed. This was an expensive stay. Couch was very uncomfortable to sit on and has “seen its better day”.
