Sequoia River Front Cabins

Beautiful quiet place on the river.

The location was perfect to visit the National parks. It had an amazing view despite it raining all week. It was also close to local coffee, restaurants, gas stations, and general stores. The owner of the property was very friendly and helpful.

The back porch lights were out making it difficult for grilling at night and there were no clean sponges to wash the dishes inside the cabin. It also was super dusty on the floor. We aren't normally picky so we just gave it a good sweep, but it would have been nice if that was done prior to our stay.

Beautiful location and good size room. Definitely accommodated our family of six plus dog. Onsite staff, Gary, was very nice, personable, and helpful.

We took our family on a three-week road trip through California in October 2025. Unfortunately, we picked up Covid on the plane and had to change or postpone the itinerary shortly after arrival. This accommodation is the only one that refused to cancel the room despite a justified request. All other accommodations allowed us to make adjustments. We therefore visited the room as planned. However, upon arrival it turned out that the hot water in the shower was not working. We have notified the appropriate person on site, Garry. He came to our cabin and was helpful, but was unable to help that evening. We then took a cold shower. Due to these incidents we have to give this accommodation a poor rating. We asked for a travel reimbursement, but this was refused.

The decor is in need of an update, and the exteriors of the cabins can definitely be improved.
