NZgood location, bed was comfy and room was quiet.
The room needs to be cleaned, and the fittings upgraded. The toilet was not flushed, mold in shower around old fittings, smelt of smoke, curtains had mold, furniture old and worn, front sliding door had a very large crack through it, no smoke alarms or safety information. The fridge was unclean and not on when we arrived, and the freezer had defrosted filling up the vegetable holder below with water.
NZNice and easy. Good location. Everything you needed seemed to be available in room. Anything in this area is extremely expensive, so I guess it wasn’t bad value.
Maybe a little bit rough in a few spots as far as maintenance like curtains and windows although.

Property was quite run down and room wasn’t as clean as we hoped with smoke butts still outside in the patio area and food on ground in kitchen so did need a vacuum.

The sheets were DIRTY from previous guests. Brown blood in bed, yellow stain and long black hair in bed. Rotten old carpet, feet were black ! Cigarettes everywhere outside. Dirty rubbish bin lid , they couldn’t even give it a wipe down. Dirty dishes that stunk!! So unhygienic and disgusting.

Being contacted by staff to pay prior to arriving based on eftpos not working and would not be able to be fixed until after we left. Refused to pay as this was not the arrangement. Paid at property and the eftpos was working!. Felt it was because it was more convenient for the hotel they wanted us to pay early.
