"This is the pace to have a real cultural experience"

This place is THE place to stay if you want to experience slum life and to do some volunteer with the school and children. The room was comfortable. The facilities were safe. Local people were awesome.

This is exactly what I was looking for. But know that this is not a hotel. This is life in one of Africas largest slum towns.

"We really enjoyed our stay at Future Stars Kibera!"

Special place in a rescue centre/school in Kibera. Philemon is a very good and welcoming host. He took really good care of us,made nice breakfast, lunch and dinner. He also gave us a Kibera tour and showed us the school. The other people living in the building are also really nice and we felt really welcome. They even braided my hair :)

"Cheap and cheerful, highly recommended"

Location, and the cleanliness. It was decorated as a very typical Kenyan style which makes you feel part of the culture . The host Philemon really looked after me, i had fresh local breakfast and lunch served.
