Amazing Apartment in the center of Ortigia. With amazing terrace, 3 air conditioning that will ensure super comfy climate at home. Apartment looks even better than on the pictures.

2 balconies on the downstairs, we didn't use them much as the apartment is located over a market and there is quite strong smell of fish if you open the balcony. But you have an amazing 2-floor terrace also, which is just perfect and has super view to the entire city

This is a beautiful apartment in a fabulous location. Everywhere is a short walk. The beds are really comfy, and the upstairs one large, the bathrooms are modern and the two walk in showers are great. Everything is clean and tidy, with tasteful decoration. There was great communication from the owner and check in was easy, even a bottle of wine and some snacks as a welcome! There are three balconies to choose from which is amazing, and plenty to watch, with market traders, and sometimes singing and music going on. The aircon is modern and very quiet which we really appreciated. The kitchen is basic but is adequate for a simple meal. We had a great week here and loved Ortigia.

When thinking whether this apartment is right for you, take into account that the amazing position in the heart of the ancient market means that inevitably you have noise from the market early in the morning, and from the restaurants underneath and close by when they are open (until around 11.30). The upstairs bedroom was pretty quiet though and we weren't disturbed. The roof terrace also has noise and smells from restaurant extractor chimneys at lunchtime and evening, we tended to enjoy the terrace off the lounge at these times instead.

The property was very central and Marta was a great host. We had a couple of issues but she was on them right away. The location is very central to Ortigia and there are lots of restaurants close by.

This was mentioned in the listing but just to note - the 2nd floor apartment is accessed by a very narrow staircase which makes it difficult for larger luggage. Also, the apartment is right in the market so can be very noisy early in the morning.

Same towels, for 11 days and a little bit cold, we needed to heat up by air-condition ...

All new, perfect location, great village and amazing roof terrace as a nice bonus.

Beautiful apartment, well designed and decorated, and convenient location in the market of Ortigia. Friendly, and nice host who gave great recommendations. 

In the first two days, there was no hot water. This is probably because it’s a brand new apartment and the host was not ready. Also didn’t have any soaps or shampoos, which was a bit inconvenient. I’m sure they will get it right next time.

The location was perfect for walking around Ortigia and some of Siracusa and the rooftop terrace was charming. The beds are comfortable and the showers are lovely. There is a free parking lot three blocks straight ahead of the apartment and the pay lots are very nearby.

The kitchen is a bit scarce and could use some sharp knives. We even had trouble cutting fruit. The recycling bins need to be labeled as we didn’t know what went in each can. I guess Italians know them by color. There is a loose grill on the rooftop terrace that needs to be welded.
