"We ALWAYS have the most welcoming Stay at the Katherine"

We have stayed in the Katherine now 3 times. The flats are absolutely immaculately clean. Carol goes out of her way to make sure your stay is catered for. Even to decorating the room for a birthday before we arrived. Nothing is too much trouble.

Clean and warm

Location had nothing to do Very run-down area. Shops close early, and you have to press a bell to enter after 6 pm because of how rough the area is with drugs and anti-social behaviour.

Convenient location for where we needed to be

Bed was not comfortable, could be replaced. No towel rails or hooks in the bathroom or soap dish or shelf in the shower. Small things can make a big difference

"Lovely stay by the beach"

Clean, charming and cosy room in lovely guest house just metres away from beach and short walk from town and tram/buses. Really appreciated the flexibility of check in time as I was arriving later than expected. Having a kitchen was super handy for making a brew/microwaving food. Will definitely stay here again.

Shower was a bit awkward but did the job, (I'm a bath person) Bed was a little harder than I like but not uncomfortable.

Location is superb on the beach front. Pity we didn't av sea view. tram and bus station round the corner.Great parking outside and close to all amenities

We where put on top floor with 3 flights of stairs to drag luggage up on our own.Didnt even meet the owners while the 3 nites we stopped there. The room is OK for a short stay but way too cluttered with big furniture in a small room of its size
